Catana 50 - 2008

This Catana 50 is equipped for offshore sailing with quality sails. The mainsail (Elvstrom, 2019) is fully battened with 98 m² of reinforced Dacron on a Harken batt-car system, and the 36 m² self-tacking Solent by North Sails benefits from a Facnor LS 290 (2024) furler. The 100 m² genoa by North Sails is also equipped with a Facnor LS 290 furler (2023). The standing rigging was completely replaced in 2020. Modern equipment includes Raymarine Axiom Pro navigation equipment, Inmarsat Fleet One Satellite communications and ICOM SSB long range radio with whip antennae (all 2018). The boat also features a 240 l/h Aquabase water maker (500 hours), lithium batteries (2024), Solbian solar panels, Onan 7 kva generator and two Volvo Penta D2 75 engines.
