TRIMARAN FOILER EX TRINITRINE (sold)

This very pretty Veyron plan was designed and built for the OSTAR 1992 by the CAT MARINE shipyard. The manufacturing is quality (epoxy glass foam sandwich), the design was also innovative with the X-shaped arms and the small straight/asymmetrical foils. After being abandoned in the Ostar, the trimaran was used for fast cruising in the W Mediterranean basin for several years to the satisfaction of its then owner. The boat changed owners and was transported to southern Brittany where it continued its program of summer cruises and local regattas. The current owner has taken matters into his own hands for a complete refit (interior and exterior cosmetics, equipment, sails, rigging, engine. Habitability is low but real for 2/3 people, Spartan comfort like all racing units. With only 9.14, the trimaran still has oceanic qualities and is particularly pleasant in local regattas, day trips or even short-handed summer cruises
This trimaran sails very easily above 10 knots, with the capacity to reach 20 knots. Thanks to the fully lifting system, the boat can run aground at each tide without problem, therefore remaining on a dead body which is exposed at low tide.
