TRIMARAN A CAPELLA 40' (sale posponed)

The A CAPELLA series included 5 examples all built by Walter and Joan Greene (sometimes with the help of future owners...) in molded wood-epoxy-glass for the chassis (arm and central shell) and in glass-epoxy composite for floats. There are 4 boats left from this now legendary family (OLYMPUS and Mike Birch won the first Route du Rum together in 1978, but the boat disappeared during delivery). 3 are in France in collectible condition, only HUMDINGER remained in the USA.
This A CAPELLA is the former personal boat of WALTER GREENE built after the loss of OLYMPUS for the OSTAR 1980. It has always been maintained in good sailing condition, but the major refit took place in 2013 in the MULTIPLAST shipyard with the total stripping of the boat, structural overhaul, resin and paint treatment, change of rigging and fittings.
